BKK 07 - 14 May... again.. :)
this is mine second time this year... omg... just came back around march...
oh no, i shall banned myself from Bangkok for a year or so... too much of the shopping trip makes me utterly broke... i need more CASH.
well, i had great fun though, every trip is different. for this trip i stayed at khao san where all the foreigners hang out, a pretty sight and vibrant at night, heart the vibe, the pubs and bars there. the hotel room we stayed in was awesome. it's clean, cheap and 2 beds for 4 of us to party. i just love it.
we embarked a religious trip to Golden palace on our third day. Berber and my 3/4 pants didn't make it through the golden gate, ended up we wore thai sarongs. *ha*
We also embarked on the journey to north of bangkok "Ayuthaya", where we get close up with the olden days temples and Buddha. the stones step to the entrance to some of these monuments are very very high. takes me a HUGE step up. well, we spotted a list of things tourist shouldn't do. and 1 thing caught my eye.
seriously, don't do that.
after this religious visiting, seriously i can say that i been to other places other than furiously shopping in bangkok city.
i do want to have another trip to bangkok, but it will be beaches this time.

Hey Babes,
As many of you probably know, today is "CONFIRM" my last day. But before I exit glamorously, I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know what a great and distinct pleasure it has been to type "Today is my last day."
I wouldn't, possibly, say everything that is in my mind, but I have enjoyed knowing XXX XXXXX XXXXXX and working with everyone over these 8 months -
(seems like only 4 - 5 months stay but like what i've always say, maybe i wasn't talking to anyone for the first 3 months seating next to the toilet - I'm the human suction to all the smelly air coming out from the toilet, you know what I'm talking about it don't you!).
Even though i may come across extremely nonchalant but I'm always full of PASSION, LOVE to those that have been very kind and nice and full force "DIFFICULT" attitude to whoever that is a snob, nasty and worst of also "CLUELESS" .
Thank you for all for the guidance, support, laughter, and companionship you babes have provided me, i've never actually work in a quite loosen up, all BABES environment which is really overwhelming to me when i first step in. (Maybe too loosen up that's why I'm forever late lately) You have all enriched my life in different ways.
Super-duper love and great big hugs to you all for hanging in there with me while I had my "freak out, whatever grumpy mood swing, you named it". I don't want to leave. I appreciate your love and everything "we all stand for". Thank You. Love to all, I will miss being your co-worker and will cherish our short lovely history together.
Almost everyone is leaving one by one, from "Exxx - Txxxxx - Zxx - Exxxx- Axxxxx - Bxxxxxx - Axxxxxx - Lxxx ...... definitely heartbreaking to what is happening.
But still have to say XXX is a great place, CXXX is really inspiring, i personally feel during my interview, which I decided to join XXX.
I'm going back to the arms of the stringent regulations working environment in the next job scope, people there are not going to be extremely exciting but is definitely good for my progress.
Last of all, I know this may sound super cliche, but glamorously sincerely with all the glitters and bling-bling (definitely not trying to be gay here). I wish you individually and collectively the best of health, love, happiness and success in the future :)

Just finished watching the final episode of the apprentice, trace vs piers. country singer vs british tabloid editor. definitely not good vs evil, they're doing it for their own charity... yeah...
i love both trace and piers...
i like the way piers played the game, also i prefer trace quiet confidence...
i m kind of surprise by the bsb list of items to be in the green room... omg that's hell lot of stuff for the celebrity.. and it's really funny to see the expression on trace face when they ask for weed grass juice and the ultimate black finger nail polish.
i love this season apprentice, so much of the Omarosa and Piers fighting and i can't tolerate Omarosa's nonsense, if i were piers i would have slap her till she fly flat on the wall.... hohohoho

DOraemon Mahjong kakis
xj and i went bkk and saw these doraemon character t-shirt... decide to buy for our fellow da-xiong look-a-like mj kakis and of course ourselves.
latter all of us, well, quite old actually and still act cute, furthermore we wore it to our rovers campfire last week!
after the campfire, as usual alumni la teh activity at the king albert park mac. eat french fries drink milo while waiting for our midnight movie at AMK hub "water horse". I had no idea wth i'm doing at amk hub when i stay at west side, anyway they're driving.

my new toy holga
el went to hongkong and managed to grab a holga starter kit at a lower price for me. trying to get the adapter for 35mm film, medium format is for the rich. haha.
my first roll of film was very very experimental... i carefully winding the film to the first slide without loading in the batteries. No batteries = No flash = VERY dark photos.
second roll of film was slightly better, still there are times where i didn't open the lid or didn't switch on the flash. i guess all of us were so used to the digital camera that we lost touch with the early days when every film/slide cost $$ to develop and we take selective shots not to waste the 36 shots in a roll of film.
here's are some of the 9 photos out of the 12s, i had no idea what went wrong for the other 3s.

my baby nephew...
i've always look forward to wednesday night, coming home been welcome by my little nephew.. ever since, there goes my friday night mahjong session at my place (we shifted our mj den to bukit batok) :Dtill now( he's almost 1 ), i hardly carried him at all not that i dislike him, it's just that i dunno how to. i know i know it's easier... i'm trying hard too, anyway he knows i can't carry him properly. muahahaaa~ always make noise when i carry him, perhaps feeling discomfort by the awkward positioning.

Taiwan 1st - 7th Aug
it's been quite a week for me no rest... continuous work and working trip to Brisbane...
here comes my long-waited holiday - Taiwan.
It's been a relaxing and enjoyable trip with mine deer deer, i love taiwan! love the culture/people, the breathe-taking view from "Jiu fen", love the sea view from Dan shui - yu ren ma tou, love the buzzing night market in Shilin, the busing signboard and crowd at si meng ding; the night life in Taiwan is never a moment of bored, be it mine first time to visit Taiwan; see new, hear new and feel new.
Food - though i've not been adventurous enough to taste all the local food at Taiwan night market, there's still memories of the yummy food on my head, the "ru rou fan", "mang guo bing" (shedding ice with mango and fruits topping), the "big big fried cutlet" very cheap price... and "bubble tea" at Taiwan taste freaking good everywhere... hahaa.. i had 1 cup everyday.*finally know the difference between bo pa na cha and zhen zhu na cha.
I would love to go there again, for work or holiday i wouldn't mind at all. perhaps this time i will explore further up to "Tainan", "Gao xiong", "ken ting" area; armed with the bullet train that takes less than half a day to travel.p/s: by the time i posted this up, we already broke up... haha.. so i only put my photo.. muahaha

Yippee... Got a chance to travel for work purpose in Brisbane Australia
But, traveling there was quite a long and hectic journey =..= due to the shortage of air-tix going to Brisbane, we had no choice but to fly to Perth and transit to Brisbane, a total of around 11 hrs sitting in flight. (I slept my way through the journey) We stepped out ofBrisbane

Living expense there is pretty high I would say, but, you get what you paid for. The portions are extremely huge and filling. By the 2nd day, I’ve got used to the cold and dry air, the dry air makes my hair dry and brittle, lips-crack, nose bleed. Haha.. very scary!
The most unforgettable are those static I experience throughout the trip, we are cautious whenever we touch the car door and guess what, my colleague even got static from a banana. Wahaaaa.. That’s totally funny!!

wat a day! i got drenched while getting off a cab jus below my office...
cos i can't get the freaking umbrella open... wahaa... rain pouring into the cab onto me..
i feel bad for the taxi uncle for flooding his cab.. but no choice it's raining like dooms day~

DDaaa Taaaa~~~~~* i got my new skates K2 Exo 4.0.. from peninsula plaza this afternoon... well although the color wasnt too right for me.. but after looking at it for the whole afternoon, it look's pretty nice.. hee.. dun mind as long as he got another similar pair hehe...
he got me a size 7... i nearly strangle him... cos i wore 7.5 that time when i was trying on the velocity... *bleah* but i think still fits so dun bother to change or get another model lah... hee.. anyway he go rounds n rounds jus to buy this pair of skates.. no mood to work.. keep thinking of my precious blade..
tried it on the minute i reached home... my dad , mum & bro had those jealous look on their faces..hee cos i gliding to n fro.. haaa...

driving+blading+coughing
my brother spread his deadly virus to me.. i was so pissed off with him that he refuses to see a doc when he's been coughing for the past 3 days and finally, yesterday he can't take it anymore.. *hell* he passed the virus to me... but mine was the minor cough.. drink more "pi pa gao" will help bah... hohoooo
saturday went east coast blading with mark..
cant really blade well.. cos long time no ice-skate liao.. the last time was during poly yr 1 or 2 bah... but i guess the theory is the same.. so i jus wear my rollerblade.. or so called inline skates.. and start to wobble... mark was sweating even when we went to collect the blade.. so funny.. afterall, he afraid of falling down on his butt, cos he's so tall... muaahaaa..
we got alan to teach us.. hee... nice..cos i dun really noe if i m blading right so better dun teach mark the wrong stuff.. heee..
i guess he got the feel of it, and decided to go buy blade since the k2 blade are on sale now.. heeee.. we went down to paya lebar today... hope to find blade that are cheap n nice.. (my driving instructor is also a blader <-issit a right term to use? he said that k2 is good and reasonable for $$) i tried on the k2 velocity and impulse... hmmm personally i like the design of the velocity.. nice mah.. haaa somemore the sale assistant whois also an instructor uses that particular model said that it fits only u, no one else after 25hour haaa.. but it cost $215... hmm.. kinda tight with $$$ cos taking driving lesson at the same time... but up to mark bah... see which one he gets... i jus get the similar one.. *bleah* my blade size is 7.5... woah.. i m big foot.. hee.. mark couldnt get his sizes... so i guess we should try our luck at queenway... see when he gonna buy.. jus get me a size 7.5 will do... :)
after that when to watch "March of the penguin" heee... kinda okie... the whole show is about penguin *duhz* heee... i love penguin.. they are so harmless n cute... heee...kinda like me.. so clumsly.. muahaaa..

cant really blade well.. cos long time no ice-skate liao.. the last time was during poly yr 1 or 2 bah... but i guess the theory is the same.. so i jus wear my rollerblade.. or so called inline skates.. and start to wobble... mark was sweating even when we went to collect the blade.. so funny.. afterall, he afraid of falling down on his butt, cos he's so tall... muaahaaa..
we got alan to teach us.. hee... nice..cos i dun really noe if i m blading right so better dun teach mark the wrong stuff.. heee..
i guess he got the feel of it, and decided to go buy blade since the k2 blade are on sale now.. heeee.. we went down to paya lebar today... hope to find blade that are cheap n nice.. (my driving instructor is also a blader <-issit a right term to use? he said that k2 is good and reasonable for $$) i tried on the k2 velocity and impulse... hmmm personally i like the design of the velocity.. nice mah.. haaa somemore the sale assistant whois also an instructor uses that particular model said that it fits only u, no one else after 25hour haaa.. but it cost $215... hmm.. kinda tight with $$$ cos taking driving lesson at the same time... but up to mark bah... see which one he gets... i jus get the similar one.. *bleah* my blade size is 7.5... woah.. i m big foot.. hee.. mark couldnt get his sizes... so i guess we should try our luck at queenway... see when he gonna buy.. jus get me a size 7.5 will do... :)
after that when to watch "March of the penguin" heee... kinda okie... the whole show is about penguin *duhz* heee... i love penguin.. they are so harmless n cute... heee...kinda like me.. so clumsly.. muahaaa..

jus came home after a movie... wu di crap show... "jiang hu ah sao" thanks for the free tickets... but i m so tired and feeling abit feverish till i can sit still and watch thru the show without complain.. this morning woke up not feeling right.. head abit pain pain, could it be due to washing of hair twice daily?
i m so useless n forgetful... m i? my 2503 wallet was with me during the show... n guess wat? i brought it home... i remembered to return him his hp and keys... but not his wallet...

Poke
abit bo liao today, wanted to go swimming after my driving, but i left my goggles at home.. *pengz*
today, suddenly thought of the word "poke" as we discussed at the West Coast prata shop that time. How do we translate poke to mandarin? hee.. we had a super damn long debate over the whole word.. finally today i look up the word online... heee...

he dun understand me... feeling sad... last night we had a little arguement.. was that an arguement? i dunno... i guessed i did said something that hit on his ego.... didnt feel like talking to him last night... i think he's offended by wat i said...
but wasn't it something we should communicate and so that i won't be an issue next time? "Communicate" is wat he said we should do.. else more stuff will jus build on to our relationship... i seriously did consider letting go.. cos he dun UNDERSTAND me at all.. thinking that wat i said was hitting on his pride rather than i m concern about him..

headache weekend~~
jus got home after a long shopping trip this afternoon.. hoohohooo.. too tired to laugh out loud...
these 2 days been hanging out at orchard road 鎗陲昹勛陲昹 hehee
Sat, meet yihui to shop..went to a few places,Far East Plaza, Lucky plaza, Meridian blah blah.. went lucky plaza and try threading my face for the 1st time... OMG.. heee so cool.. leaving the shop with my eyebrow trimmed and manly-moustache gone!! heee.. *PRAY* that it wont grow out coarse and thick.. pass by metro 20% sale at Paragon.. sale are always crowded with ppl.. 1 hour in there made my head spinned for the whole nite... left the store with 2 bottle of kose.. i m so vain.. but it feels good.. haaa...
evening time, meeting weiwei , collin and our batch of wonder women at chinatown for dinner.. it's been such a long time since we met, we spend a few hours of quality time luffing and fooling around.. when all got tired, the night didnt end jus at geylang, we went to yihui's house for "RLA meeting" well.. we gossip abit that's all..

Sunday, weiwei suggested to go shopping at orchard again.. so we went down again... surprisingly, the guys bought more than the girls.. actually okie lah.. guy're also vain creatures.. esp that 3 guy we went shopping with.. they bought shoes, tops and shorts.. haaa...
i bought a tote bag from hush hush.. thought it'll be bigger for work purpose.. heee.. after that my as usual forgetful 2503 left his handphone at home (he said so himself, but actually he left it in his car and couldn't find it *sotong*) he came down after a lousy game at sentosa, to meet us for dinner...*撓覜雄*.. haa
the seven of us spent the rest of the time lazing at cineleisure friends cafe till closing time... i is so tired.. i is going to sleep... i is gonna stop writing.. haaa...

Poly 50
Singapore Polytechnic's annual campus relay race
Times really flies, last semester was my second year in Polytechnic and also my second time taking part in Poly 50. Tension, heat, the memories of people running in bright and multi-colour singlets and T-shirts, painted faces and loud cheering from supporters around Workshop 5 were still fresh in my mind. This year 2 teams from Rovers took part, namely "B1" led by David and "B2" led by Junxiong.
Before the race, we trained hard during the PT sessions every Tuesday and Thursday, which were specially set aside for this event. Morale and team spirit were high up in the air through out all the trainings; needless to say there were pain and sweat too!
We were even told not to have spicy food a few days before the race and to drink more water to replace the loss of fluid in our body.
On 13th March 2002, a Wednesday afternoon, all of us had to rush down to Den and get changed immediately after lessons. Eagerly, we put on our newly bought poly 50 “asics” running kit that comes in black and bright orange for this particular event. However, we were shocked to see there were 2 other teams that wore the same design as us! Determined to be different from the others, we came up with other ridiculous ideas to distinguish ourselves from other teams. We had tattoos on our arms, green coloured hair for team 1 and pink coloured hair for team 2. “Nicely decorated”, we proceeded to the car park near Workshop 5 for some serious warm up. The atmosphere was tense, teams doing their last minute warm up and taking photographs, preparing to put on their best performance for this coming "Battle".
Jane and I were the first runners for the teams. Standing in front of the starting line, the anxiety and pressure was more than I had expected. When the guest-of-honour was about to siren the start of the race, there were some jostling and pushing among the girls. Once the siren went off, everyone speeded up to the next runner of her team stationed at the end of the car park. I ran as fast as I could, amidst the loud cheering of encouragements and screaming heard along the route. It could be my imagination, but somehow I heard my team of rovers shouting and cheering, which spurred me on to run even faster. The minute I saw Guoyong waving to me ahead, I sped towards him and passed him the card. Even though I had stopped running, my heart kept on beating hard against my chest “Thud! Thud!…” non stop. It only calmed down after a few minutes. Then I felt my calf muscles starting to stiffen; I guessed my muscles felt the tension of the race too. The run continued…
The good weather held on without inconvenient of rain right to the very end.
We finished the "battle", and even though in the midst of the "battle" there were feelings of exhaustion, we never did surrendered to the heat and tiredness. We were ranked 13th and 15th in our category. We did our best, so everybody was contented with the end result. The guest of honour was giving away the prizes to the winning team, and seated down at the concrete ground, we were waiting eagerly for our turn to go up to the stage. At last, when our team was called, our troop flag was waving back and forth enthusiastically, whilst our traditional SP Rovers "adiji yeli" echoed in the atmosphere.
Months of training merely for this memorable day, it was worthwhile in spite of everything. Let our Rovering spirit continue to burn everlastingly…
