greetings from hongkong

my second day in hong kong, no idea why so tired... old liao.. just jot down in point form before i forgot when i get back to SG.

visit Disney today :) magician carousel and fireworks, a great place to bring kids for holiday next time can bring xiang xiang here!!! weather is extremely cold and windy during the fireworks display.

food experience is great!!! cheap and really tasty. unlike the cha chang teng in SG. Love the milk tea and noodle. This morning, we went to a dim sum place near mongkok recommended by stanley, we ordered too much and couldn't finished the food... i thought it's gonna cost a bomb cos that place looks like red star dim sum in SG, and it's better than that. in the end, we paid SGD$10 for each pax.

neon sign board, loud people in eatery, high rise building with small space, branded goods, morning yum cha... etc etc..

things are not exactly cheap here when it comes to sport brand like adidas and nike. not as cheap as those in aussie factory outlet.

shops and eatery closes as late as midnight. We just had desert at shek mo fang, interesting black glutinous rice with mango and rolled up in black sesame skin..

stepped into H&M yesterday, it's like topshop, but the things are really cheap!!!

btw, It's nini birthday today... i just heard them screaming "Happy birthday" in the room.. damn noisy sia.. haha...

housekeeping...

i was packing & cleaning my cupboard just now and happened to dig up my collections - a few old diary and a karma sutra. birthday present from my fellow colleagues.(gift from India, sweet sweet thoughts but morally slightly wrong). i wasn't going to blog about karma sutra. flipping through my diary, i saw that my last entry was on 23 June 2006.

我和日记说好了只写开心的事,可是这次例外。我只想记得他,我们的好朋友。

My senior, my friend, my la-teh kaki, ktv kaki - Lionel Lin aka "lion", "abu nana". He left all of us 2 years ago, and even now when all those memories it's still fresh in my mind. How can i forget those days we spent in rovers-- BTC, RTT, RSS, training, pt and tekan-ing.. i spent more time in rovers than at home, the only off day is Sunday. Occasionally, we even meet on Sunday for KTV. omg! it's all time spent together + memories bond us together. Lionel is that kind of typical 好男人, nice, easy-going, boy next door, makes me thinks that 哇噻..世界上还有好人.. And he's super fit like superman, during PT he always wear sibey hot short with justin. when they do stretching will 走光 sia.. every time we make racist jokes, he sure kana!! cos he's extremely dark but with nice set of dazzling white teeth. they even got him an Indian name bahahaaa.. Grim Reaper took him away that day, cos he's such a fine young man who's full of life. From that day on, he multiplies and stays in all our hearts. I still remember you singing this hor.. “男人哭吧哭吧不是罪”.. wah lau classic ah!!

Recently been feeling a little hollow -- mid-quarter crisis. after reading through my past thoughts, i'm feeling much better, motivated.

live everyday like it's your last, ya, with little regrets.

Finally... i got my erhem...*shy*

Whoa... can't hold it any minute... the moment i reached home.. i unwrap/tear open the "device"...
helpful haohao bought for me at the braun warehouse sale!!! considered cheap compare to those selling on the market...

when i first power it on.. the device's sounds scare me off!! it looks very scary to use it at first sight!! i might ripped off my whole hands sia... oh my god.. couldn't figure out what the rest of the parts are for.. wahaaa.. can't be bothered also... it come with 2 cooling pack, great can use it for fever next time!!

I want to shout to all girls.. "please get one tooo!!!" it's so convienient, painless and "fun"???!!! it's addictive too~~ bet i will use it everyday.. *siao* i got myself an epilator.. hurhur.. i being thinking about it since i saw it on magazine. and, the night before i was at mustafa looking at it, had a strong urge to buy it. Lucky haohao stopped me... hehe..

i watched a lot of movies over the weekend..

Confession of a shopaholic - 3.5/5.0
Shinjuku incident - 3.0/5.0
Detroit Metal City - 3.5/5.0
Handsome suit - 4.5/5.0

a typical shopaholic movie, i find it kind of predictable. Shinjuku, oh my god.. they keep chopping people hands.... bloody effect... er.. quite scary... DMC, it's a hilarious japanese movie by the actor "L" from death note, i couldn't recognise him in the movie.. his mushroom hair and colourful tight jean totally not "L". Funny shit.

Handsome suit is another great movie to catch, genuine, light hearted featuring an ugly man who transformed into a gorgeous dude by wearing a white, plastic, cartoon mascot.. society loves the handsome him and detest the ugly him.. hard to believe, but it's true in this world.. people do judge a book by its cover, even though the movie had a happy ending which it's unlikely in this real world... *sad*

the song revolution is the official soundtrack, it's very pleasing to the ear although it's quite an old tune. check out my music widget... haha

what i want to be when i was young

this was a question asked by my co-worker... haha.. makes me ponder for awhile...

when i was young, i want to be a teacher... well, or even principal... at that age, i think teachers are cool... respected by the kids...do their jobs of nurturing them.. i do believe at one point of our student life, we met that 1 particular teacher that we respect and love. Well, and it kind of changed our perspective a little.

i want to be a singer, my mum used to say that if i can remember my 默写 as good as i recite my lyrics (at that time i think it's andy lau) i will be super whopper smart... but you know, you need to have looks to be a singer... i will be better off doing some sewing on singer...

i want to be good at drawing, i took part in small scale RC drawing competition when i was young cos my mum ask me what i want to learn & i told her drawing lesson... well, let's just say i wasn't really good at it hahaa..

but i know that when i grow old (really old), i want my own tu tu kueh business.. i love the way they make tu tu kueh with the metal mold.. you know what it reminds me of.. it's like building sand castle at the playground especially if you order peanut flavour... i love this stall at vivo city... fine flour and great taste...
