After a long day at work... 这么晚回到家,看到自己的床已被换上干净的床单. 大小枕头开心的叠在一起。

以前小的时候并不懂,觉得是理所当然的事。

现在感受到妈妈的好。

最近比较忙

好忙，好累，忙得连呼吸都觉得很累。。。

忙得连想吃的零食都没胃口。。。

好渴望沙滩，大海，蓝天与白云。。。我想去热浪岛，可是没伴。。。

This afternoon received a heart breaking news from a close sec friend, nini. I saw her sms, thinking that she's mass messaging us to share her joy, happy news of her 2nd baby boy come rolling into this world. Instead of sharing her happiness, i choked on the sms, throat tightening, nothing can i say to make her feel any better... 

She delivered her baby boy. But even before that, the dear baby boy heart already stop beating...

 I can't imagine that to happen to any of the mummy in the world...这世间难道就不能只拥有幸福，欢笑和喜悦吗？

你知道吗？爸爸妈妈，你们是超人。你们拥有超出人类的忍耐力，无敌的毅力， 无畏的用你们的双手辛苦的把我们养大，不求任何回报。我们长大了，是爸妈的希望与梦想。。。也是爸妈的心肝宝贝。。。

Just had dinner at ikea with a bunch of ex-tus - It's tuesday, so it's duck breast day at ikea!

hmmm... it's so good.... so happy and contented... now feeling fat and dreamy, and decided to upload my weekend photo. last weekend was super duper packed with chalet and roller blade... I happened to be the May event organiser for eugenia, ah bee and shuping birthday and by luck yihui got the chalet ballot from her company. so we decided to celebrate their birthday at downtown east.. Well downtown is full of youth and energy!!! haaa... me, linda and weekiat checked in earlier on saturday, happened to walk past a NTUC booth having "gou li" and "five stones" competition. Somewhere deep down in my heart, i really want to compete in those kampung games, must be fun!! so in the end weekiat and linda participate (they got ntuc union card hahaaa) and weekiat won 1 movie ticket, and we decided to give it to an uncle who also won 1 ticket with his family. :D feels good day... 

later part of the day were packed with preparation for the BBQ, I had fun last weekend, so old liao still go chalet, actually feels like I'm back in the secondary school days... where a bunch of boys and girls will stay overnight chit chat till daylight. 

Next sunday morning, woke up and yihui brought us sight-seeing at pasir ris pet shop and bought a kennel for jen jen and pei pei. so sweet!! After that meet up with Get Fit gang at jurong lake, blade for awhile and hang out at Taman Jurong. Also one of my favourite hangout after school!! Went ghim moh for dinner, head down rochester for kopi... can't tell you how tired i'm on Sunday... Zzzzz fell asleep immediately after i reached home... ZZZzzzz but i totally enjoyed spending my weekend with friends!!

I hate thunderstorm... Raining heavily in the middle of the night .. the howling of rain, flashes from the lighting and rumbling from the thunder were so scary that it seems like the end of the world... will it be that way when it arrives?

我便从bag里拿了ikea买的饼干。“neh...”

“这个很甜的。。。”

 然后便听到电视第八波道振荣在访问周宗庆。。。

主持人问道 “母亲节快要到了，你们有没有对妈妈说我爱你呢？”

我便很甜的对妈妈说 “妈妈我爱你。。。我爱你你你。。。”

主持人又问 ：“你要用什么方式来表示或表达你对妈妈的爱呢？”

“我要打她！” 我大声的说。

我说完后我就哈哈哈哈啊哈大笑。。。妈妈也笑了笑。。。

"Let's finish this for our kids" - mark and booper

Leg 9 of this week amazing race got me all teary and emotional...

so happy for mark and booper that it wasn't the end of their journey in amazing race... mark tried so hard at the bollywood dance... they almost gave up and was ready to head home to their kids but i'm glad that they decided to do the last dance to complete the road block.

To my surprised, Phil announced that this was the second non-elimination leg of TAR. 2 week ago it was the non-elimination leg for the FBI girls, i thought it won't be happening this leg of the race... but relieved that it was and the moment phil announced that, i burst into happy tears for them.... hope they're lucky enough to win the 1 million for their kids and families that badly needed it.

They got lucky for the 2nd time, well, the third time's the charm.

清明时节雨纷纷

Raining since 3am...and It's still raining..

For the past 20++ years, my parents usually went ahead with 清明. But last year, my mum asked me if I want to tag along. I thought why not? Good to know what the my parents and uncles are doing for 清明. not all my cousin are there, and I'm probably the only 3rd gen there with my 堂哥. I think it's good to chit chat stay in contact with the relatives. As we hardly gather together after ah ma passed away.

I stared into the rain and all sort of things came running through my mind. i never get to know my ah gong, I only know he smokes a lot and mum has a faded black n white picture of ah gong's side view looking very skinny. But I guess ah gong just look like my dad, but slimmer. Cos looking around my uncles all looks the same, small eyes big nose, tall with a tummy. Except my dad, he got slightly more ah ma's genes -> chubby. Heeee

• after that slowly break down and cry out loud!!!!
• Look for road side drinking store, BBQ some meat and drink their local rice wine... and fall asleep in their store
• After that find a sauna place, bath and learn to fold the towel to a sheep head. Next, crack the hard boiled egg onto someone's else sheep head and eat... fall asleep in the sauna resting place.
• watch people eat live squid and swallow it down....

I love rain and especially night rain... Tonight it's was exceptionally still outside and the echo of rain slowly pouring down like a piece of classical music filling up the dark.

Hello Ghost 赞！

watch this few months back, my brother recommended me this movie..and i asked if it's a ghost haunted movie.. hahaa... he said it's a comedy....

45 mins into the movie, i thought, hmmm another good acting from Cha Tae-Hyun, seems alright. pace of movie was slow and slightly heavy for a Saturday afternoon. story line looks normal, a guy fails to commit suicide and end up seeing ghost. he end up helping the 4 ghosts, to fulfill their dream so that they can leave him alone.

Towards the ending... it's where i can't control my tears... starts to pour like a running tap... it is another awesome movie by Cha Tae-Hyun and kudos to the script writer creating such a unexpected twist at the end which is so so heart breaking and sad... makes me 泪流满面。

喜欢上陈柏霖剧中的李大仁。。。

虽然李大仁对待爱情的个性不够坦白直率，但也让这重多年说不出的温柔和爱情加倍的让人疼惜爱惜。

现代的男女爱情也少了这种－慢慢爱。

大仁语录爱情就是一个moment的问题，可能因为一个moment而爱上一个人，所以也有可能因为错过了一个拒绝的moment而必须得爱上那个人。

dexter...still never fail to surprise me

this season is insanely gross and brutal... i had to arrange Monday show in this order so that the images of the murder scene won't linger in my sleep... which might leads to nightmare...

fang asked us if we want to watch "you are the apple of my eye?"ooohhh... 原来是那些年，九把刀之作。

I heard a lots of reviews and comments from waileng and kwanlin even before i watch the show. I do know that 柯振东露屁屁 in the movie... hehe..and finally managed to catch it in the cinema on a friday night and it was fully packed with teenagers... 年轻人啊...

come to think about it, 那些年，我到底做了什么~ ~ ~？！？！？？

我想了想 ，我不是沈佳宜 -- 功課優秀、長相出眾。我是周惠彬 -- 我的功课还不错、可是長相出错。哈哈！therefore my sec sch romance life = zero, 没有像电影里让人心痒痒的爱情。

我翻开我手写的日记，竟然发现我的日记都是罗曼‘屎’。 “我喜欢谁啦、今天又和谁擦肩而，我又和谁很谈得来啦， 谁又让老娘心动啊。” 我还蛮花吃的...求学时想男人。真可恶!

我想只有我班的“沈佳宜” 才经历过那样阳光般辉煌的爱情史吧。

看完了那些年也觉得没大家力捧的好看，因为没经历过嘛。但也让我feel到淡淡的青涩时光。
“那”是一部男生会懂，会喜欢，会大笑，会流泪 的一部电影。

kukup weekend

 
We presents "The kukup committee 2011" - Except for Miss YYY who couldn't join us at the last min cos her grandma in ICU, linda as well missed this trip due to her dad's health (祝 Both，早日康复！). Bravo to all, who "donated" their precious weekend. Especially, yihui's dad who led the convoy all the way to kukup and walk to and fro the chalet to buy drinks for us 有点忏愧, yihui's mum who also came along regardless of her leg pain. keyong who brought laughter to us... we're a bunch of old sis and brothers and yet he fooled along with us. Jeffery (aka ah kok) he's 19 freshly from US, cause of him we had to revise our version of 猫抓老鼠 into Angmo version and became a huge mess and fun. Shuping who won our top prize! she's so good at guessing and attempting all the games, and super spontaneous attitude... ah hao won our third prize, she sometimes stoning and funny in her own way.. and sleepy yihui who came all the way from sg after her noah arks stuff, can tell that she's super duper tired with the 2 panda eye ring across the face, and yet she still joined us in kukup. :)  weekiat also joined us mid day due to project briefing, he's the wise voice in the committee, he usually give the final green light for the games suggestion (most of jx's games went into archival for "future" use) ... hahha old man mah must respect. xuejun - she was so dejected when we cancelled our trip a few years back. She's sooooo looking forward to kukup and we finally made it to kukup!! all thanks to kwanlin's idea for most of the game that keep us entertained throughout the trip. Junxiong...well.. we will have to thank him for clearing up all our plates and lights up the fireworks for us! and driving us there...

in the latest episode 10, Eun hyeGong Ah-jung (Yoon Eun-hye) saw Hyun Ki-joon (Kang Ji-hwan) picture and recorded video message on her handphone... and she repeatedly playback him saying her name.... "wooooo-ahhhh" how sweet was that... how the script was written took my breathe away... sweep me high up to the moon...my heart can't take such a romantic gesture... as they created his role as a no-nonsense, arrogant, straight and a man of few words... 

haaa.. i watched coffee house long time ago, he's still very charming and sexy with that little dot on his nose...   

Series of events mounting up to a big disaster

Never in a million year would i have thought that eating cucumber will get you sick and eventually leads to DEATH. And apparently, this killer cucumber claimed 14 lives and poison more than hundreds of people in Europe. It create an outbreak of cucumber epidemic. Asia are petrified by the news of Taiwanese food products containing cancer causing additives.

Well, more serious case of nature disaster (or should we refer as man-made?)  are slowly making their way into our calendar this year, iceland volcanic eruption getting frequent... another big tornadoes struck Missouri.. and not forgetting japan huge tsunami wave... earth shifting, climate changing, sea level rising...

Suddenly, i kind of feel that "yes", the world is going to come to an end.. she get worst day by day and one hit after another, and on one fine day - Armageddon. You can never ever be prepare for end-of-world, therefore outlive your life.. let it shine...

Omg...Kathmandu and now in Singapore

on my way to lunch today, i saw 2 guys talking at a junction. One of them looks familiar, i was thinking "who's this guy? is he one of my friend's friend... ... .. " think.. think.. think... aha...

we met one Singaporean couple at Kathmandu airport on business trip to work on the telecom network. They are pretty chatty and they make us feel like we're crazy people to be in Nepal for 19days... They joked about the frequent blackout and how unsafe after nightfall, if Nepal had more frequent flight, they will want to fly out that very day after the meeting. Lol..

The world Singapore is so small.. and as me and my colleagues are going to chinatown aston express for lunch to try out their menu. The 2 guys were heading there as well... sitting in the same coffeeshop, if it was in nepal, i definitely would have walk over and say hi (even maybe there might be a slight chance that i might 认错人) but in my own country, my usual thick-skinned face became thinner... lol.. I was friendly and crazy during the trek in nepal... wahaaa...

So i just sit down there and ate my lunch, I hoping of the possibilities that i get to tell them how beautiful Nepal is and if they do have the chance go down to Lukla, even perhaps take a short walk to Namche, they will have a different "taste" of Nepal, definitely if i just stick around in the city for 19 days I might not even want to go back again... maybe next time i will take the first step ... "Hello stranger" or "Namaste stranger"

i almost forgot i need to come back to work in sg...
i switch on my laptop my mouse doesn't work for a second i thought i lost touch with technology...
i have tonnes of drama and tv series waiting for me... i don't know where to start..
i still have 1 more rest day before the crazy monday...
i probably stay up late to do all the laundry and unpacking till sunday...
argghh... coming back to sg seems to give me more headache than staying in the high mountain...

we were so luckily that we managed to trek all the way to EBC... i never thought i might make it, cos i was going really slow... any slower would be like a tortoise.. but it's really worth all the dust and the long journey up there... the view up in the mountains are so surreal, calming and magnificent at the same time... it's hard to drag myself back to SG... 

in this19 days in nepal, there's lot of first time...
first time after going up slope for hours and glad that it's finally over.. namche!!!
first time see snow flakes in tengboche...
first time didn't shower for 4 consecutive days...
first time wake up 4am in the day and sleep as early as 8pm in the night...
first time trek on snow...
first time lost terribly Dai2 to an Ang mo and my friend...(i was pretty well-trained since young) 
first time paragliding in pokahra
first time close encounter with so many yaks yaks yaks..
first time eat dal baht and love it...
first time chit chat for over 6 hours with a stranger we just met that day at the tea house. (ryan from canada, he's so chatty, funny and friendly, but he's into serious business... doing and spreading good deeds and love to the other people.. hmm admirable..) *i think maple leaf is calling, Canada please wait for me*
first time bought a roll of toilet paper at SGD 4 dollars!!
first time drink water with lots of plastic and funny looking alien particles inside...
first time to a snow capped mountain...

there's so much so much to enjoy and to feel about for this nepal trip... i wonder if it's possible for me to go next year... again... namaste nepal.. :) once it's never enough..

top chef all star - ahhhhh

damn... dale talde went home tonight on top chef... ahhhh i really thought he can win this season.. .damn!!

super disappointed with this season... i was rooting for him to the finale for this all star season, can really feel his change of behaviour compare to season 4.. much more matured and well composure, i even find him humorous in several occasion during the inter... i like the way he thinks and act in top chef.. always focus on making his dishes and compete. less words. i guess i just like hardworking chef like him who are less talkative. He's not as angry as before but still super uber fast at executing his dishes and running all over the place.. gonna miss his action in the top chef kitchen.. ahhhhh....

i was so excited and happy for him for the past few week, he won many elimination challenges as well as $$... but all these like he say can't even trade for a place in the final... can really felt his heart and determination in winning this top chef... :) pray for him to make a comeback in all star "redemption"... haa

amazing race 18 - "unfinished business"

yeah~~ it's back again for the 18 season... breezy start at San Gorgonio Pass Wind Farm one of the windiest place in California. Such a wonderful setting for the start of the race...

so glad that Gary and Mallory (father and daughter) are back once again... i super duper love them on TAR 17. so sad to see them eliminated from season 17, this is their 2nd chance... yippee! They are my hot favourite team and they are uber lucky.. love the dad so fit and calm... mallory is so cheerful and cute.. yesterday, they are one of the last 3 team to deliver the clue to Phil which put them onto the 2nd flight list, and due to a passenger having heart attack on the 1st flight. The 8 team who are on the 1st flight ended up as the last flight to arrive in Sydney. And, there goes the 90 minutes lead... anything can happen on amazing race, and it's out of their control... that's the cool thing about reality show... makes me crazy all the time watching them racing around the world. 

at the midpoint of the 1st leg, gary and mallory came in 1st, got their "fast forward" gift from Phil and continue the race again... non resting pit stop... so exciting...

hehe... as Phil was saying at the start of the race... "good luck, the world is waiting for u..."  and me too... i want it so badly...

shibal..It is a Korean word used mostly in place for the word "fuck" and "shit" in English when something goes wrong. Not to be confused with the verb "fuck."hurhur..

I'm slightly worried about the trek to EBC, haven't been actively running and exercising. Really want to enjoy the trek and the view, rather than struggling during the climb. Have to start tomorrow morning, running and yoga. getting stressed out by the training and my health condition. ahhhhhhh.... help me....... 

Me myself and I....

me have been thinking for awhile, what exactly i need to achieve in life lately... no answer yet... sometimes, someday the answer will get clearer and clearer... right now, i just want to go along with my heart. Doing things that i've been thinking for awhile, and have been procrastinating back then. Moving forward to have a better, clearer look at myself. somehow in life, i will soon find the answer and the things i need back in my life.
